My passion for endurance sports goes beyond the arena and has been part of my life from an early age. Growing up in Colorado, I was constantly surrounded by the beauty and challenge of the outdoors. I was an active kid, trying almost every sport under the sun, but I always felt the most significant connection with the mountains and trails around me. By the time I was 14, I had already summited ten of Colorado’s iconic 14’ers, mountains towering over 14,000 feet. Whether it was skiing, mountain biking, running, or hiking, I thrived on the freedom of exploring what was out there and pushing my limits along the way.
As I grew older, this love for adventure evolved into a dedication to endurance sports. Marathons, triathlons, and long-distance challenges became my way of channeling that same sense of exploration and resilience. These sports demand discipline, mental toughness, and a relentless drive—qualities I strive to bring to every aspect of my life. Competing in endurance events keeps me focused and sharp, constantly reminding me that nothing worth achieving comes easy. It requires hard work, resilience, and a willingness to push through obstacles.
Whether training for my next race or preparing for a showjumping competition, I carry that love for the outdoors and that spirit of endurance. Each challenge, whether on foot or in the saddle, is an opportunity to grow mentally and physically stronger. This commitment to pushing beyond my limits fuels my journey as an athlete and keeps me grounded in everything I do.
